Marinda briefly dabbled in film before obtaining her degree in Performing Arts at the University of Pretoria. She then promptly ran away to the UK, to further her training in Puppetry and performance in various genres. She spent 8 years working as an actress, voice artist and puppeteer in the UK, gaining experience in acting for film and television, creating and performing a one-woman show, amongst other puppetry projects. She is now based in Centurion, Gauteng, with a home recording studio. Her voice can be described as warm, earthy, sensual, clear and authoritative. It lends itself well to corporate scripts like IVR, medical narration, e-learning, telephony and videos for web.
