Deon is an actor, writer and voice artist. After graduating with a Diploma in Theatre Crafts from the Pretoria Technicon he spent 6 years with the then PACT (Performing Arts Council for Transvaal) Afrikaans Drama Company, doing on average 5 productions per year. Deon is an intense, focussed artist that has delivered raw performances on stage, television, film and in corporate theatre productions.
As a writer, two dramas from Deon’s pen have been professionally staged; and a third one is on its way. He was a finalist in the 2016 RSG Radiodrama-skryfkompetisie, and his skill as a voice artist also showcased recently on radio in his hugely popular 13 part series of short stories.
